CrossGig will be a place where a band will be able to find booking information for every venue in a city that books Christian music. These venues don't just include Christian friendly coffee shops. They also will include churches and other venues.

So if a band is planning a week long tour, and they only have a few dates booked, they will be able to go to CrossGig.com to type in the city that they will be driving through. A list of churches or venues will be listed for them, and will provide booking contact information for them to possibly be able to fill in the rest of the dates during their tour.

It's really expensive to be in a band, especially when gas is as expensive as it is right now. CrossGig will help you get more booking dates. By booking more concerts, hopefully they will sell more merchandise, which will enable them to stay on the road longer.

But it's not a site that is specifically for Independent Christian bands. This site will also be a place where Christian venues like youth groups or even Christian friendly venues will be able to quickly find the kind of bands that they want to invite to their events. Instead of spending many hours a week wading through a bunch of websites from bands that may or may not be good for the audiences they want to attract to their events, they will know that bands are safe for their audiences since they are on CrossGig. Venues won't have to screen the music for inappropriate messages since that screening will be done by us.
